Annual Summer Camp for Troop 974. This year the Troop will attend Camp Friedlander to work on 50 different merit badges as well as participate in C.O.P.E. or the first-year scout Trail Blazer program. There will be a family night on Friday, July 19 at 5:30 p.m. including the closing campfire.
- Summer Camp 2012 takes place on Sunday, the 15th at 10:00 AM
Troop 974 meets every Thursday night from 7:00 to 8:30 at Center Pointe Christian Church. About sixty boys are registered and many attend meetings and camp-outs.

We currently have six patrols in the troop. They are: The Black Knights, Flying Pheasants, Silver Serpents, Rabid Squirrels, Sly Foxes, and the Killer Rabbits. Each is led by a patrol leader and an assistant patrol leader.
